Performance Report

The Performance Report provides detailed insights into how your offers are performing across clicks, conversions, and other performance metrics.

Written by GoKart Support

This report allows you to analyze performance across multiple dimensions such as offers, advertisers, events, placements, geography, and device types, helping you make informed optimization decisions.

When to Use the Performance Report

  • Analyze which offers generate the most conversions

  • Analyze which placements perform best

  • Revenue and profitability insights

Accessing the Performance Report:

  1. Navigate to Reports from the main menu.

  2. Select Performance from the Reports section.

The report is fully customizable. This page will go over how to customize your report so you can apply filters to refine your dataset, select attributes to define how data is grouped, and choose stats to determine which metrics are displayed

Report Filters

Report Filters allow you to refine the data returned in the Performance Report so you can focus on specific segments of your traffic, offers, and partners.

  • Leaving a filter blank means all values for that field are included.

  • Filters impact both the data displayed and the aggregated metrics.

  • Changing filters requires regenerating the report.

Example Use Cases

  • View performance for a single advertiser across all offers

  • Analyze only successful conversions for a specific campaign

  • Break down performance for a specific partner

Quick Filters

Quick Filters are always visible at the top of the report and allow for fast, high-level filtering:

  • Date Range
Select a custom time range or use presets (e.g., Today, Last 7 Days, Month to Date).

  • Offer Name
Search and filter by a specific offer.

  • Partner Name (Applicable for Advertisers & Affiliate Network users)
Filter data by a specific partner.

Additional Filters

Additional filters are available in the Customize Report → Filters panel and provide more granular control over the dataset.

  • Offer Type: Filter by the type of offer (Multi Event, Single Event).

  • Offer Status: Filter based on the current status of the offer (Active, Pending, Expired).

Tracking & Conversion Filters

Performance Metrics Explained

Conversion Rate: measures the percentage of how many clicks result in conversions.

Formula:

Conversions / Clicks

Example:

25 conversions / 100 clicks = 25%

At the event level, conversion rate is calculated as:

Event Completions / Clicks

Click-Through Rate (CTR): measures the percentage of how many views result in clicks.

Formula:

Clicks / Views

Example:

100 clicks / 1000 views = 10%

Profit (Applicable to Advertisers & Affiliate Networks only): measures the difference between revenue earned and payouts to partners.

Formula:

Revenue - Payout

Sorting

Reports can be sorted by any column in the report.

Sorting behavior:

  • Numeric columns: ascending or descending

  • Text columns: A → Z or Z → A

Column Selection Limits

To maintain performance and readability:

  • Maximum 8 attributes

  • Minimum 1 stat

  • Maximum 5 stats

Helper text in the report builder indicates these limits while selecting columns.
